ASCET-DEVELOPER facilitates model-based design and automatic C code generation for embedded systems. It allows for the creation of graphical and textual models, which serve as the foundation for generating C code that is automatically produced, maintainable, testable, and reusable, ensuring both safety and efficiency.

Key Benefits:

  • Speed: Achieve development speeds up to 4 times faster than traditional C development through model-based design and early error detection.
  • Proven Quality: Benefit from over 25 years of development, powering more than 500 million ECUs in vehicles.
  • Easy Integration: Built on the Eclipse platform and supports industry standards like MISRA-C, FMI, AUTOSAR, OSEK, and ASAM.

Three Steps to High-Quality Code:

  1. Model: Design using graphical editors (block diagrams, state machines) or textual ESDL, leveraging features like classes, a robust type system, and semantic units for clarity and reusability.
  2. Validate: Utilize live static analysis for early detection of issues such as type compatibility, unit mismatches, side effects, and unreachable code. Test ideas early with built-in unit testing, PC simulation, and model coverage analysis.
  3. Generate: Automatically produce high-quality, MISRA-compliant C code with excellent readability, traceability, and built-in defensive programming (e.g., protected division by zero, index overflow protection). Supports AUTOSAR code generation and customization for various targets.

Editions:

  • Community Edition: Free for non-commercial use, offering full product features for learning and personal projects.
  • Professional Edition: For commercial use, includes hotline support, maintenance, customer-specific extensions, safety qualifications, training, and consulting.
