INCA-FLOW facilitates the solution of recurring application tasks by allowing graphical process descriptions, which can be integrated with any development infrastructure. As the complexity of functions within powertrain control units grows, tools that alleviate the workload for applicators and promote company-wide adoption of proven processes become essential. INCA-FLOW addresses this need by enabling rapid graphical description of calibration sequences and their execution on connected infrastructure. It also automatically documents best practice examples for all employees.

This tool offers shorter development times, reduced costs, and higher, reproducible quality without requiring IT knowledge for script programming. This allows engineers to focus on their core expertise: efficiently parameterizing control unit functions for emission reduction, robust onboard diagnostics (OBD), and optimization of fuel consumption, performance, and driving behavior.

INCA-FLOW is distributed by an IAV cooperation partner, which also provides first-level support. Continuous development and the addition of new functions are ongoing.

Key Toolbox Features:

  • Toolbox „Engine Drivability“ (EDT): Assists application engineers in measuring and evaluating the drivability of control unit applications for engines. It allows for the comparison of vehicle and application data using objective criteria, replacing time-consuming subjective expert assessments. Integration into vehicle measurement systems is quick and easy.
  • Toolbox „Transmission Drivability“ (TDT): Provides automated evaluation of events based on objective physical criteria for optimizing drivability calibration. It includes extensive visualization functions for problem identification and detailed event analysis, covering all types of events such as upshifting, downshifting, start-up processes, converter bypass, and hybrid functions.
